stayed in the deluxe, double bed room, which had a huge window with a beautiful view of the trees grass all the way down to the river. It was very clean, very modern and clearly had just been renovated. The bathroom was really great too. And the Aveda toiletries were a great touch. The Keurig coffee machine, mini refrigerator and microwave also made the mornings so much easier.

Near our destination of New Milford. Not a lot of traffic craziness. Staff at the motel was very accommodating in fixing a burned out bulb, replacing a non-working room key, giving directions. Fast, easy checkout because I used Booking.com.

The Rocky River Inn was a very pleasant change from chain hotels along the interstate. We had a good night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed and woke up to a view of the river. We’ll definitely stay there again when we’re in the area.
